The band will be appearing at the Murat Shrine Center Arabian Room in
support of The Beacon of Hope Women's Shelter on the evening of
March 3rd. This event is a major fund raiser for Beacon of Hope and
warrants your support. The band will play a variety of popular
instrumentals and vocal charts saluting America's great heritage in jazz
and swing tune leadership in the world. You will hear renditions of Count
Basie favorites as well as Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller, to name but a
few.
This event is open to the public. The event will have a live and a silent
auction, dinner, dancing, and live entertainment. Tickets are $60 per
person. Tickets can be obtained by calling 317-731-6131 and by visiting
their website www.beaconofhopeindy.org. Credit cards are accepted.

Performing as The Indy All Stars Big Band
The band will be performing at The Indiana Roof Ballroom as part of their
2012 Big Band Dance Series. The band will be appearing as The Indy All
Stars Big Band and will feature a mix of classic Fox Trots, Tangos,
Waltzes, Rhumbas, Cha-Chas, East Coast and West Coast Swing
Numbers, as well as quick-steps, and sambas,
The dancers will enjoy the rich sounds of these classic tunes as well as

The band will be playing at Fountain Square Theater as part of their
Swing Dance Series. This popular venue provides a great series
featuring local bands playing a rousing selection of swing dance tunes
from years past, including songs made famous by Glenn Miller, Benny
Goodman, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, and other famous groups. Come
and enjoy this fun evening. Swing Dance lessons given from 7:30 to
8:30. Tickets are $12 per person.
